Smokey Eyes With A Difference / Shoot with McDonald Photography

Smokey eyes. One of the most simple ways to take your look from day to evening. Yet surprisingly one of the hardest for a lot of women to master, and also one of the most boring! Because with statement eyes goes nude lips. Just as a bold lip goes hand in hand with a more natural eye (although that doesnt go for your lashes!!!) :)
Why not add a shot of colour into the mix? There is no rule that says Smokey eyes are restricted to a monochrome palette.
Try blending a bold colour from the inner corner out into a darker shadow.
Lilacs and purples bring out green and hazel eyes, bronzes make blue eyes pop and golds are great for brown eyes...but dont stop there!! Take it a step further, go for bright blues, greens and pinks!!
